World Party Time

 I love that my school does not have your "typical" open house.  We have World Party.  Each grade level has their own continent to study and each classroom chooses one country from their continent.  Fourth Grade has the Continent Aftrica and my class learned all about Morocco.  These are some of the projects they did- which were amazing.  Parents help them recreate dishes and drinks and each student walks around with their own passport and learns about all the different contries and tries all the different types of food- it is a wonderful and education experience!

World Party- America

The students colored in the White House and decorated the rose bushes.  They all worked really hard on this! I also had them write facts they learned about the White House.

 

They all had a hand at coloring in Mr. Lincoln.  If you look REAL close they were nice enough to add the little details like boogers on his nose!!  Around Mr. Lincoln are the guided drawings of Lincoln too.

Each person drew and cut out a part for the Statue of Liberty!

I always love how the eagle turns out by using their hands as the feathers!  They also wrote facts they learned about the Eagle!

Mount Rushmore!

 

This is a game the students created.  They drew the board with American symbols.  They would toss the dice and whatever symbol they landed on they had to give a fact about it.  They LOVED this game!!

World Party

We are growing "Our Great Barrier Reef" to prepare for World Party!!
