We had a great party full of food, craft, funny pictures, and dancing!!  LOVE IT!!

Field Trip to Perot Museum

These were some of our favorite things from Perot Museum:

The students loved this!!  You could pick from several characters (dinosuar, bird, human) to race against...very cool!

I loved that they encourage such feedback from museum guests.  Look how cool and colorful!!

I love all the bright colors that surrounds you at the differen levels!

These are wooden blocks that move to reproduce a pixalated picture of you!

Students were encouraged to build structures then to see how they would withstand an earthquake- so neat!

You could throw or kick a ball and it would measure it- kids loved it!

What a wonderful and neat experience.  I can't wait to go back with my own children and explore some more!!

100th Day of School

We had so much fun celebrating the 100th day of learning!  I decorated with a big sign I saw on pinterest and had streamers hung all over the ceiling-the kids loved it!

We made 100 gumball, a 100 design/creation, wrote 100 words, sorted 100 cereal, wore hats with 100 items, but didn't make it to the 100 mystery bottles. Those we will guess next week.  It was a great day!!

Police Officer

We had a great guest speaker (my husband) come and talk to all of Kindergarten about his job of being a police officer.  We learned the different types of officers and the different tools they use.  He stressed the importance of knowing 911 for emergencies and his police officers help the community.
He then asked if they wanted to be a police pal and they had to promise to follow rules - it was really cute!
